Will anyone be able to tell I had a treatment?
Most people will simply notice that you look rested. Mild redness or light peeling may occur for 1-3 days. Makeup can be applied after 24 hours.
How soon before an event should I book?
We recommend booking 5-7 days before your event so any peeling has passed and your glow is at its peak.
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are tiny messengers produced by cells. In skincare they are prized for helping skin look hydrated, calm, and refreshed. EXOFECTA combines them with hyaluronic acid and peptides in a professional-only formula.
Where do the exosomes come from?
EXOFECTA’s growth factors are derived from human adipose (fat) stem cells, cultured in a lab under sterile conditions.
Is it suitable for sensitive or mature skin?
Often, yes. This is confirmed during your skin assessment. We may postpone treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken isotretinoin within the last month, have an active cold sore or rash, or have used retinoids within the last 3 days.
How long is the visit, and who performs the treatment?
Your visit takes approximately one hour. The treatment is performed by an esthetician under the oversight of Dr. Bodner.
